Housing/ Weatherization
CADC Weatherization covers the following counties: Tillman, Kiowa, Beckham, Washita, Cotton, Jefferson, Roger Mills, Jackson, Harmon, Greer, Grady, Caddo, Comanche, Garvin, Stevens, McClain, Custer.
Our weatherization program is funded through the Department of Energy and the Department of Human Services. CADC has one of the highest trained and certified staffs in the State on home energy conservation. A computerized energy audit is conducted on each house before and after rehabilitation to determine the energy efficiency. Average energy savings of at least $450.00 annually are realized by recipients. The program also looks for health and safety issues in heating and cooling systems and can make improvements in these areas as well
Rental Units
CADC has several homes for rent, primarily in Frederick. If interested contact the office at 580-335-5588 for information.
Senior & Disability Housing
CADC owns and operates The Grand Apartments in Frederick, serving senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The building features apartments equipped with kitchens, central heat and air, and handicap accessible units. The facility features two laundry rooms and an exercise room. The congregate meals site, operated by Delta Community Action, provides nutritious, affordable meals Monday thru Friday. Very Good Coffee is also open on the first floor with outstanding pastries and freshly ground coffee.
