Early Head Start & Head Start
CADC provides a comprehensive, age-appropriate child development program for 3-4 year-old children. We place emphasis upon the whole child and recognize the importance of the family in each child’s life. Parents are encouraged to be a part of daily activities and to volunteer at Centers. Monthly parent meetings are held at each Center and one parent from each location serves on the Agency Policy Council, which provides oversight to the program. Educational standards meet or exceed the Oklahoma Department of Education requirements and the curriculum and assessments are aligned with the Oklahoma Pre-Kindergarten Standards, Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines, and the Head Start Development and Early Learning Framework. All Head Start enrolled children receive a physical and dental exam, as well as vision, hearing, and developmental screenings. Members of the community are invited to become volunteers at the Centers and experience Head Start firsthand.
